Employee was cutting metal out of a pile when the piece he was cutting on started to fall towards the front of his service truck. Employee grabbed the piece of metal to prevent it from hitting his truck and the metal sliced through his glove and cut his 5th digit on his right hand. He recieved 4 stiches and returned to duty.

EE HAD BEEN WELDING ON CRUSHER HAMMER. UPON COMPLETION, HE WAS TESTING THE HAMMER TO MAKE SURE IT MOVED FREELY WHEN IT CAUGHT HIS ANKLE BETWEEN HAMMER AND WALL, CAUSING CONTUSION/ABRASION TO HIS LEFT ANKLE.
EMPLOYEE WAS GETTING OUT OF HAUL UNIT AND AS HE TURNED TO GRASP HAND RAIL AND STEP DOWN HE FELT A CRAMP IN HIS LOWER BACK AND HIP.
EMPLOYEE STATED HE HAD TAKEN OFF HIS SAFETY GLASSES TO BETTER POSITION HIMSELF TO PUT HOSE ON UNDER LOADER WHEN HE FELT SOMETHING IN HIS EYE. HE DID NOT REPORT INJURY UNTIL JULY 23, 2002.
EMPLOYEE WAS CHANGING THE SCREEN ON PLANT, AS HE WAS LIFTING HE FELT PAIN IN HIS BACK. EMPLOYEE WAS TREATED 7-31-01, RELEASED TO FULL DUTY, ON 8-2-01 HE WAS STILL IN PAIN AND SENT TO DOCTOR, W HO THEN PLACED HIM ON LIGHT DUTY.
