Suction pipe on dredge stopped up at 9:00 a.m. Two miners unbolted suction pipe to remove roots. When bolting suction pipe back on pump, employee stuck his right index finger in the bolt hole to check alignment; pipe shifted and the tip of his finger was cut off.
