Mechanic was using come along to hold tension on a steel bar as they heated it with a torch , the weld broke on bar and it came back and hit them on the left leg.
Working from an elevated position using cutting torches when a spark came off striking the miner in right ear. The hot spark entered the ear and damaged the ear drum. No loss time took place. On 10/13/2014 the miner went back to the Doctor and received an antibiotic cream and surgery is now going to be required to fix the damage to the ear.

AS THE WEIGHT WAS PUT ON T HE TRUCK SUSPENSION THE SPACE BETWEEN THE STEP AND THE TIRE GREW SMALLER FINALLY PINCHING HIS FOOT BETWEEN THE TIRE AND THE STEP.
