The employee was laying on the shop floor using a cutting torch to remove a bolt from a truck when a spark or small piece of slag went in his left ear. He gave himself first aid for a burn in his ear. He then went to the clinic as a precaution. He was examined, given a prescription for ear drops and he returned to work the with no restrictions.

EMPLOYEE WAS KNEELING ON METAL PLATE WHILE REPAIRING LOADER. ANOTHER EMPLOYEE WAS UNDER THE PLATE DRILLING UPWARD. THE DRILL CAME THROUGH THE PLATE STRIKING INJURED IN RIGHT KNEE. SUTURES R EQUIRED TO CLOSE WOUND.
