Workers were removing a stone from the cutting table. The rock slipped, and fell. The worker's finger was under the rock and got pinched between the rock and the table. The rock rolled off the finger and continued to the floor where it broke.

Individual was operating a Chris Cutter without permission. He had not been trained on the machine and did not know that the table moved. he had his fingers under the rock and when the table rose it pinched his fingers. Two fingers were bruised and / or lacerated.
Employee had just sawn a stone square when finished square broke in half due to non visible dry. Stone fell directly on left foot causing swelling, pain and bruising. Employee was treated with ice pack and sent to Workwell Health Occupation for further assistance.
The employee was positioning a stone on a hydraulic cutter and had not moved his finger before the cutter was actuated. The flesh part of his finger tip was cut and required stitches to close the wound.
The worker was bracing a rock to prevent it from jumping when it was cut. The force of the cut proved too great for him to stop and the rock came at him off the end of the table. A pallet that he had placed behind himself earlier kept him from getting clear of the rock so it landed on his foot. Part of the rock landed above the steel toe crushing the foot and breaking one bone.
