While collecting drill cuttings from an exploratory drill hole a gust of wind blew dust from the drill' s dust collector discharge into the eye of the miner. The dust scratched his right eye. The next day his spouse asked him why his eye was red. A doctor prescribed topical antibiotics and steroids to treat the eye. He did not experience any loss of vision.

While walking to his locker to put his hard hat away after his shift the miner heard a popping sound and his left foot began to hurt. Miner is still able to perform his duties we are reporting this injury in case his condition worsens.
