Mostrando los 4The Employee was changing a battery in a Caterpillar 992. EE had an associate holding the battery cover up and also had a prop under the battery cover. The associate let go of the cover to grab a wrench and the wind blew causing the battery cover to fall and strike right hand.
EE STATED THAT ON 5/7/02 HE NOTICED HIS BACK STARTED TO HURT WHILE HE WAS WORKING. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND TORNADO WARNINGS CAM ABOUT ABRUPTLY IN OUR VICINITY. THE EE ATTEMPTED TO FLEE FOR PROPER COVERAGE & PROTECTION FORM THE STORM. THE EE WAS IN A TRUCK W/2 OTHER EES WHE N A STRONG SURGE OF WIND BLEWTHEIR VEHICLE ABRUPTLY. EES DECIDED TO GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND RUN FOR SOME OTHER TYPE OF COVER.
