On the morning of 11/1/2024, a miner sustained injuries to the face, shoulder, and wrist resulting from a fall from the steps of the yard loader to which EE was assigned. The miner was driven by the scale attendant to the local ER where EE was treated.
Miner lost footing in loose material while standing on top of finish screen deck during maintenance project. Miner was attempting to dismount screen via fixed ladder mounted permanently to the screen hood and lost footing as miner turned to descend. Miner was restricted for one day to no work the next day (Thursday.)
