EE was dismounting the excavator for the end of shift. EE had three points of contact while dismounting and slipped off the foot peg on the middle of the track, which is 18 inches off of the ground.

OPERATOR OF SC9 WHILE DISMOUNTING SLIPPED TO AVOID HITTING HIS CHIN, HE PUSHED OFF AWAY FROM MACHINE AND FELL ONTO HIS BACK THEN FELL DOWN INTO CUT (EXCAVATED AREA). TUMBLES 6'. FRACTURED L-1 SUPERIOR END PLATE IN LOWER BACK.
DISMOUNTING HYDROCRANE LOST HIS FOOTING, FELL BETWEEN MACHINE AND TIRE. BRUISE TO RIGHT LEG ABOVE KNEE.
PARKED HIS LOADER OFF TO THE SIDE AND HELPED ANOTHER EMPLOYEE WITH A PROJECT. WHEN THE PROJECT WAS COMPLETED HE RETURNED TO THE LOADER. HE SLIPPED ON THE ICE BUT CAUGHT HIMSELF BY GRABBING ONT O THE LOADER. HE DID NOT FALL TO THE GROUND, BUT PULLED THE MUSCLES IN HIS LEFT SHOULDER.
