EE was working on Loader 06-105 at the project site. The employee was replacing the gas shock on the equipment door. After removing the cover and reaching for the gas shock, the end of the shock broke off in EE's hand, causing EE to lose EE's balance and fall from the equipment. As a result of the fall, the employee struck EE's right knee and right shoulder.
