Employee was preparing to clean up work area with water hose when EE slipped on muddy water and fell. EE tried catching self by putting down right hand. In doing so, EE sprained right hand and wrist. EE has been placed on restriction/light duty until further notice.
While dismounting a skid steer, the miner caught his foot on a step and fell approximately two feet to the ground and injured his right knee. First aid was administered and an x-ray showed no fractures. There was no lost time and injured returned to work on restricted duty the same day. Doctor gave prescription for ibuprofen. Knee showed minor bruising and swelling.
While walking on a wet floor at the Slurry Plant, the miner slipped and fell, injury his right knee that had been previously injured at home. The miner finished his shift. The right knee swelled overnight and the miner was seen by a physician the following day, May 27, 2015. The miner was asked to follow-up with the doctor on June 1, with another follow-up scheduled for June 8.
The employee fainted and fell to the ground while walking from his lunch break area to his work area. He landed on his face and sustained abrasions to his face, knees, and elbows. His tongue was also lacerated and required 4 stitches. 9-1-1 was called and he was treated and released at the ER.
