Operator was performing pre-shift exam of mobile equipment and slipped off of steps, to check engine oil and coolants. Fell to ground approx 5 feet and had 2 fractures in left radius forearm. Hard cast - 6 weeks - no surgery.

Stepping over railing from rock barge to dredge pontoon left leg caught an electrical conduit causing leg to pop at knee. Dr. diagnosis left calf strain, released to modified duty/regular hours, follow-up check in one week.
After preforming repairs & climbing down from cat walk to track of dragline, left foot contacted between pads causing loss of balance & fall backwards to ground, landing on right arm. Took to Med center for x-ray's, no broken bones. Jammed wrist, Dr. released to full duty's.

INJURED IS RETIRED ELECTRICIAN EMPLOYEED ON "AS NEEDED" BASIS. HE WAS PREFORMING ANNUAL "GROUND FAULT' TEST ON ELECTRICAL MOTORS ETC. HE FELL FROM APPROX 7' ELEVATION & LANDED ON SANDY SOIL. R IGHT HIP WAS INJURED REQUIRING SURGICAL OPERATION & SHORT STAY IN HOSPITAL.
EMPLOYEE WAS WALKING AROUND SHOP TO GET BACKHOE AND STEPPED ON ICY PATCH - FEET SLIPPED AND LANDED DIRECTLY ON BOTH KNEES. RESULTING IN TWO DISLOCATED KNEE CAPS.
