Employee was performing maintenance on the palletizer feed chain when he stepped down on a nail protruding from a piece of broken pallet in the work area. Nail penetrated through his work boot into his left foot which necessitated medical treatment.

EE was assisting another EE spot box rail cars for loading at warehouse. As train came to a stop, EE proceeds to step off of side ladder. While stepping to the ground, he stepped on a large ballast rock and twisted his ankle.
EE states he injured his right knee while kneeling down to repair a pump, EE states it didn't hurt He did not report it he then went on 3 days off. Returned to work worked 1 day. Next day reported to supervisor he hurt himself on 5/12/06. Co con- tested with WC. On 8/21/06 WC would pay this as on the job injury.
WAREHOUSEMAN STEPPED OFF FORKLIFT ON TO A BOARD AND STUCK A NAIL IN RIGHT FOOT, REQUIRING A TETNUS SHOT.
EE WAS SETTING UP A DRILL IN THE PIT WHEN HE TOOK A STEP BACKWARDS, STEPPING ON A ROCK, PARTIALLY LOSING HIS FOOTING AND STRAINING HIS LOWER BACK. EE SOUGHT MEDICAL TREATMENT AT THE END OF HIS SHIFT.
