Employee was exiting the bed of service vehicle when he lost his footing. He fell to the quarry floor. A witness asked him if he was injured. He complained his neck & back were hurt. The witness called for help & asked injured to remain still until paramedics arrived. X-rays/MRIs negative & he was back that evening at 6:00PM. He was told to relax the next day anad returned to work

THE HA MMER APPRENTLY STRUCK THE DRILLER WHO WAS NOT WEARING SAFETY BELT AND PUSHED HIM OFF THE WALL. THERE WAS A SAFETY HARNESS ON THE MACHINE BUT DRILLER DID NOT HAVE IT ON AT TIME OF ACCIDENT.
