A WIRE ROPE HOLDING THE COAL CHUTE LOADOUT IN A HORIZONTAL POSITION BECAME DISENGAGED CAUSING HUTE TO FALL INTO A VERTICAL POSITION. WHEN THE CHUTE, WHICH WAS HINGED AT ONE END, FELL TO THIS VERTICAL POSITION THE EMPLOYEE FELL APPROXIMATELY 20 FEET AND APPEARED TO HAVE STRUCK HIS HEAD ON A RAIL ROAD RAIL.
