Employee's eye became inflamed. Possible foreign body in eye. He will be having surgery on July 10 to remove scar tissue. Until then he is on full duty but was given a prescription for his eye. Will amend report when he has surgery.

Showing all 12Employee was at this plant location to change out a printer. He is our computer analyst and is not a miner. He had a massive heart attack, was transported to North Kansas City Hospital, where he passed away. He is considered office personnel and his regular location is at our main office.
This was not an accident. Employee drove into work, did not exit his truck but was found in his truck. He died of a heart attack.
Employee was on the west dredge. A piece of metal blew into his right eye. He was wearing his safety glasses. He was given prescription medication making this a reportable accident.
Employee was standing on the dock barge when the wind blew a piece of metal in left eye. EE did have safety glasses on at the time. The piece of metal went between the glass and INTO eye.
