EE had walked to the continuous miner to talk to the operator. When he squatted down beside him, the coal rib rolled off and struck him on the back and lower legs. This resulted in a hairline fracture to the right lower leg and three fractures to the left lower leg.
EE was helping on the continuous miner when a coal rib rolled off and struck a timber that was set against the mine roof. The timber struck EE on the right side of the head and shoulder.

EE WAS SITTING ON SHUTTLE CAR WAITING FOR THE OTHER CAR TO CLEAR THE HAULWAY WHEN THE RIB ROLLED OFF STRIKING HIM IN THE LEFT SHOULDER & HEAD--EE WAS TREATED & RELEASED AT HOSPITAL ER.
INJURED HA DSTOPPED HIS SHUTTLE CAR AND WALKED TO WHERE CONTIIUOUS MINER WAS BEING REPAIRED, AS HE APPOARCHED THE MINER A PIECE OF TH ERIB FELL STRIKING HIM ON THE LEFT SIDE AND LEFT FOOT.
INJURED WAS RIDING 3 WHEELED BUGGY ALONG THE BLET ENTRY WHEN A PIECE OF ROCK FELL FROM THE RIB STRIKING HIM ON THE LEFT KNEE AND TOP OF LEFT FOOT.
WHILE EMPLOYEE WAS MOVING MINER CABLE, A RIB ROLLED OFF AND STRUCK HIS LEFT SIDE (HIP AREA). THIS ACCIDENT OCCURRED ON 2-27-92 AND EMPLOYEE DID NOT MISS WORK OR GO TO THE DOCTOR UNTIL 5-29-92.
