As the two employees lifted the vent tube above their heads, they lost control of the vent tube and as the contract employee attempted to regain control of the vent tube EE strained EE's right shoulder.
While attempting to guide shield #8 up the hill, the employee was using a cap piece to extend the base steering ram cylinder and when pressure was applied, the cap piece broke and smashed the employees left ring finger requiring stitches.
