Inflating small tire. Tire was wrapped by a ratchet strap. Went to release strap. The strap released with great force striking left hand. Small cuts to pointer and ring finger. Stitches were required. The miner returned to work that same day.

Tug shifted and employee's left hand was caught between cutter head teeth and push knee. Employee attempted to pull hand back and left ring finger nail was pulled away and tip of finger broken inside glove.

EE WAS MOVING ROCKS WEIGHING BETWEEN 60 - 100 LBS. THE ROCKS WERE BEING PUSHED OUT OF THE WAY, WHEN A ROCK ROLLED TO THE ROCK SIDE CATCHING EE'S FINGER BETWEEN THE ROCK & A STEEL WALL.
EE WAS UNSCREWING AN OIL FILTER. THE FILTERS WERE VERY TIGHT. WHEN EE INSCREWED THE FILTERS HE EXERTED HIMSELF & FELT A SHARP PAIN IN HIS LOWER BACK.
