On 12/02/2020, miner noticed a bulge in right groin area. It was not causing pain or discomfort at the time. On 12/09/2020 during annual health exam, MD confirmed right inguinal hernia. Dr. stated it was not emergency and with COVID restrictions could wait for repair. Workers Comp Dr. exam was on 06/09/2021 and was referred for surgical repair, which was done on 09/30/2021.

Mostrando los 6On 1-13-12 at approx 8:30 am miner reported that he noticed a bulge at his navel the night before. He stated it was not causing him any pain and was not interfering with his work bagging and stacking 50# bags of rockdust. Dr stated "was most likely a preexisting cond. worsened by lifting".
Operator recieved cut to back of hand when drill press accidentally started up while he was changing the bit.
AFTER BEGGING, HE FELT A BURNING SENSATION AND NAGGING PAIN IN HTE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GROIN AREA. HE THOUGHT HE HAD PULLED A MUSCLE. AFTER GETTING HOM THE PAIN GOT WORSE. THE NEXT DAY HE HAD AN APPT. WITH A DR. IN COLORADO SPRINGS. THE DR. EXAMINED HIM AND FOUND HE HAD A GRADE 3 HERNIA CAUSED BY REPETITIVE LIFTING AND WILL NEED SURGERY.
EE WAS HELPING TO LOAD A VAN TRAILER WITH PALLETS OF BAGGED LIMESTONE WHEN HE PULLED HARD ON PALLET JACK HE HURT HIS BACK
EE WAS BAGGING LIMESTONE, AND WHILE MOVING BAGGED LIMESTONE FROM BAGGER TO PALLET...BACK WENT . MAY HAVE PULLED SOMETHING.
