A mechanic was attempting to install an equalizer bar on a dozer. While positioning the bar, the belly pan fell catching EE's left hand between the belly pan and the bar. This resulted on the loss of the left ring finger.

Loading wet hole material(bags)from trailer to truck when employee felt a sudden sharp pain in his lower back

Employee was helping load crib blocks onto a mechanic truck when he felt a pain in his stomach. He was diagnosed as having a hernia. He required surgery and has not returned to work as of today.

Changing a wrench hydraulic unit out on a drill. The new unit was bolted up and when he stepped to the ground his stomach started hurting. He was diagnosed with a hernia that required surgery.

The employee was standing on top of a loader with a rope in his hand that was tied to a drive line underneath the loader. As he was pulling on the rope he felt pain in his back. He continued to work and on 11-30-09 he was taken off work to start 2-3 weeks of therapy and is still missing work.

Employee got a foreign object in his left eye as he was blowing dust off of a dust hood on a drill. Employee missed no work, but had to use prescription medication.

During Tree cutting operation for a spoil fill area in advance of mining operation. An employee received multible non-fatal injuries when another employee felled a tree. Then the tree struck the injured employee who was working down slope of the felled tree.

THE END OF THE AUGER HAD BROKEN OFF ON THE HIGHWALL MINER AND THE EE GOT INTO THE BASE FRAME AND LIFTED THE END OUT. THE END WEIGHED APPROXIMATELY 40 TO 50 POUNDS.

EE WAS WORKING ON A TORQUE ON A DOZER AND WHEN HE WAS ENTERING THE BELLY PAN AREA HE HIT HIS LT. KNEE ON A METAL BRACKET.

I WAS WAITING FOR THE TRUCK TO GET LOADED AND WHEN IT WAS I STEPPED OUTSIDE THE DOOR TO PUSH UP THE TARP WHEN I DID THE RAIL OF THE TARP KNOCKED OFF A ROCK A LUMP OF COAL OFF THE TOP OF THE TR UCK ONTO MY HEAD.
