employee was removing teeth from excavator bucket by striking tooth with a hammer. A small piece of metal (1/8"x1/4") broke off the tooth and struck the employee in the upper right leg (thigh). The small piece of metal penetrated work pants and into the leg. No impairment to leg but employee taken to local hospital to get it looked at.

Mostrando los 4Employee was using a hammer and chisel to knock bearing loose of a shaft. The chisel bounced back and hit employee on right cheek, knocking off protective glasses and impacting the right eye. Damage to eye is unknown at this time.
Employee was cutting conveyor belting with retractable blade knife. Conditions were damp. Knife and hand slipped and knife cut right thumb. Laceration required three internal stitches and seven external stitches.
