A new conveyor belt was being strung on a radial stacker. The radial stacker belt was at zero degrees and on the ground. A rope was secured to the belt end to string it through the conveyor. The rope knot broke through the belt and struck the miner in the right hand resulting in EE over-extending EE's right elbow.
