Employee was working near the guard on a tumbler for castle valley stone, as they were hammering their hand got impaled by a sharp piece of the guard. We were not certain of the severity of the injury at the time, however a tendon was severed and they required surgery to fix the injured tendon.

Employee is a Stone Splitter. The employee was splitting stone with a chisel and hammer when they missed the mark and hit their left pinky finger.
