The injured employee and another employee were attempting to clear out a plugged jaw discharge chute. While hitting the chute with a sledge hammer in order to dislodge the plug, the injured employee hit the edge of the chute, pinching a finger between the chute and the handle of the hammer, fracturing the tip of their finger.

Mostrando los 4The employee was working with another employee replacing a conveyor roller. The injured employee was holding the roller as another employee was taping it in place with a 3-pound hammer. The injured employee moved their hand, and it was struck by the hammer.
The employee had removed the pin on the tooth and was tapping it with a small sledgehammer on top to dislodge it from the shank. In the process of striking the tooth, a fragment of metal splintered off the tooth, striking the employee in the thigh.
Employee was barring out the cone. Material gave way suddenly and employee hit arm against the cone. Received x-ray after continued pain and was diagnosed with a fracture. Reportable as of 3/30.
