Miners were cutting a boom hole to set a belt drive. The injured employee was helping the miner operator when a piece of steel came back, broke the employee's safety glasses and struck him in the right eye.

Victim was pulling drill stlls out of the roof, while pulling them out the drill still fell out of hole that was drilled bounced off the drill head and struck the victim in the mouth breaking 3 teeth and caused a small cut on his lower lip.

Employee states he was cutting cable tray and band saw slipped, lacerating left index finger. Employee received seven stitches and was released to full duty the same day.
