EE was washing out under the secondary crusher with a hose. As EE was doing this, a large rock came off the secondary screen and struck EE in the right arm causing a fracture to the shaft of the right radius.

Mostrando los 7EE cutting metal, as slag fell on top of the R/foot & burned thru boot leather onto foot, reported injury, declined med atten. On 5/29 emp requested to see Dr. due to foot not healing as expected. Occ Med noted infection and presc rx w/follow-up at wound clinic on 5/30/19. Returned to work no restrictions currently.
EE was removing pusher bolts from the crusher. Using left hand to guide the impact wrench to remove the bolts, the left index finger got caught between the lip of the crusher, and the impact wrench fracturing the finger. EE was taken to the ER. EE was diagnosed with an internal fracture of the left index finger between the first and 2nd knuckle. On light duty.
Emp was working on the scalping screen on tower #1. EE was grinding the buildup off the screen. Later discovered that something was in left eye which progressively became more annoying. EE contacted superintendent and was told to go to the clinic for medical care. Foreign body was found in left cornea and referred to an ophthalmologist for removal and cleaning.
Scalping screen overloaded causing blockage/spillage. Spillage of stone (1-2 inches, 1-2 lbs.) fell approx. 40 feet on to miner's left shoulder causing a contusion. Miner was at ground level. Employee was taken out of work by medical professionals.
Employee was helping to tack on steel bars to a steel plate. Employee was not wearing adequate eye protection and suffered a flash burn to the eyes.
While tramming slag off tailgate of dump truck a piece of hot slag blew into left ear.
