The operator of the bolter started the machine to set over to load more supplies, injured darted back beside the machine and was struck by the machine. Injured was taken to local hospital and treated for a pelvic fracture and was released.
Injured was roof bolting on the #3 unit when his steel become clogged, he removed the steel and got the steel unplugged. When he placed his steel back in the pot, it became wedged and caused the steel to bow. Injured lowered the pot back down and steel sprung and struck his hand. Fracturing the knuckle in his hand.
Injured was roof bolting on the #2 unit and his drill steel had become lodged in the mine roof temporarily and then fell and struck his left hand.
