Mostrando los 11EE was standing on the shield. When the shield went into auto pull it came in to contact with EE's right foot, pushing EE's foot into the pan line. Was taken off work on 02/20/2025.
Operator was backing miner out of cut, they went to reach their tools on the machine and a rock fell off the rib and smashed their hand. Causing them to receive stitches to the top of their right hand.

The employee was trying to cut a link off of a chain so the chain would fit a lock box. Employee was holding the chain with channel locks and cutting link with a battery powered grinder. The grinder slipped off of chain and cut their left hand causing them to receive stitches.
EE was standing by the miner at the 7-Right raise bore shaft area, a rock ricochet off the gob/rock area at the shaft hole and propelled back 75' to EE's location striking EE in the left wrist causing EE to receive stitches.
While installing roof bolts in #3 entry employee had just finished tightening up a bolt. Employee was resting the starter steel on top of left foot, while dropping the boom down, to set up for next hole. The steel caught a bolt on side of pot, while it was coming down driving the steel through foot.
While operating the shear, EE was standing on the shield foot when a rock discharged off the shear cutting head striking EE in the left arm. EE received staples in the arm.
EE was trying to remove a pinner steel hung in the roof. While pulling and pushing the steel to fit the pinner chuck, and hit the wrong control lever causing right ring finger to be pinched between the pinner steel and the pinner steel clamp.
While picking up the roof bolter cable to hang, the operator of the roof bolter trammed the pinner forward, the pinner cable reel stuck causing a strain in employee's left shoulder area. Employee was taken off work on 04/28/2017 for surgery.
