Employee went to put a flame in kiln 1, EE was standing on a 29" rolling ladder, there was pulverized coal dust still in the hood of the kiln, when they introduced a flare to ignite the coal, the kiln produced a blowback, knocked the employee to the ground from the 29" ladder and they sustained burn injuries to right arm and lower back, 2nd degree burns.

Mostrando los 20Operator was pushing trees with 700H Dozer and a tree got stuck on a stump and swung around and shattered glass on the window. The glass shattered and a small piece got caught in EE's contact. The operator was given a tetanus shot and a prescription antibiotic. Returned to work immediately following medical treatment.
Employee was using a air chisel to dislodge mud and debris from screen hopper. EE was thrusting at an upward angle causing a strain to right shoulder.
Our employee had his right hand injured in a refractory mixer while in the process of cleaning it. He had injuries to his wrist and fingers. The mixer was unexpectedly energized while our employee had his hand inside the mixer.
While removing bolts with an impact wrench the socket came loose and contacted the employee's mouth area, damaging his tooth.
Employee walked by fan that blew a piece of lime into his left eye. He was wearing his safety glasses.
EE was using a 7" grinder, grinding a piece of steel that had to be cut with a torch. He was wearing oily gloves from the before drilling and the grinder slipped in his hand and the disc cut into his forearm.
While using a 51/2" circular saw to cut wooden wedges 6" in length from an 8' 2" X 4" board. The worker was injured when the saw blade hit a knot in the board. The saw kicked back & the blade cut his left hand breaking the 4th finger and lacerating the 3rd and 4th fingers.
Accident under investigation
Employee was welding overhead pre-heater modules.
FELL ON SHOULDER WHILE DRILLING. BOON MOVED SURPRISING EMPLOYEE CAUSING HIM TO LOSE HIS FOOTING ON THE ROCK.

Accident is under investigation: call to company obtained further information. EE had removed his hood to take a broken bag off of the packing machine. His shoulder accidentally hit the button that started the machine and he got lime dust in his eyes. He is a temporary worker, hired for the April thru October season and never returned to work.
Employee was exposed to calcium hydroxide in his eyes. EE was wearing safety glasses.
BENDING, TURNING WELDING IN TIGHT SPACE.
EMPLOYEE WAS BREAKING CASTABLE/REFRACTORY WITH A CHIPPING HAMMER AND A SMALL PIECE GOT UNDER HIS SAFETY GLASSES AND INTO HIS EYE.
PUTTING RAILCAR BACK ON TRACKS. USING RAIL FROGES AND PUTTING THEM IN PLACE. SMASHED FINGER WITH RAIL FROG.
EE WAS CUTTING UP SCRAP METAL AND PARTS TO PUT TINTO A RECYCLE BIN. HE WAS PUTTING METAL IN THE BIN AND GOT A PAIN IN HIS GROIN. HE KEPT WORKING ALL DAY AND REPORTED IT 2 DAYS LATER. ON THE 20 TH OR 21ST HE WENT TO SEE HIS DR WHO SAID HE HADA HERNIA. UPON OPERATION THEY FIXED 4 HERNIA'S OCT 5TH.
WAS BAGGING HYDRATED LIME WITH A PROTECTIVE HOOD ON. HE SAYS HE BENT OVER AND THE HOOD WAS CAUGHT ON SOEMTHING AN DIT PULLED OFF HIS HEAD AND AT THE SAME TIME THE START BUTTOM WAS PUSHED BLOW ING HYDRATE INTO HIS EYES. TEMPORARY LOSS OF VISION DUE TO HYDRATE IN EYES. 4 DAYS WITH BLURRED VISION IN 1 EYE.
COWORKER WAS 3' UP ON A LADDER, DRILLING A HOLE. EE WAS WORKING BELOW HIM ON HIS HANDS AND KNEES, ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE LADDER. THE DR5ILL BIT THE COWORKER WAS USING BROKE, CAUSING HIM TO LOSE HIS BALANCE AND FALL ONTO EE'S BACK.
