Mostrando los 11While running the roof bolter, the individual reached down to pick up a piece of drill steel and at the same time he engaged the stab pack catching his left index finger between the stab pack and the mine floor. He received medical treatment and returned to restricted duty.
The individual was drilling a hole for an 8 ft super bolt. The drill steel stuck in the hole and while trying to dislodge the steel it suddenly broke loose and fell out of the hole striking his left hand. This is a medical only report with no lost or restricted work days.
