Mechanic was installing brakes on a water truck inside the shop area with garage doors opened. A rain storm developed causing wind to blow dust and the garage doors acted as a funnel to allow dust to enter shop area. Mechanic did have on appropriate PPE (eye protection).

Mostrando los 4EE had pulled his truck off the scales to the right side out of the way in order to change a tire. As he was finishing he became unconscious. Employees on the site commenced CPR until the ambulance arrived.
Employee had just gotten off work and was in the parking preparing to go home. The employee then briefly lost consciousness and slid to the ground. A fellow employee proceeded to help the affected employee and took him down to the office. An ambulance was called and the employee went to the Whitesburg ARH Hospital.
EE left work early on 5/5/10 to attend a personal buisness. Prior to leaving work EE did not complain or report any injury. EE called in on 5/6/10, said he had hurt his back, didn't know if it was at work or home. He only saw dr 1 time, dr said he could RTW on 5/17/10 with no restrictions. Have not found any evidence of injury, still investigating EE's failure to report incident.
