Two miners were installing a section of metal pipe on a pontoon for the dredge using a Caterpillar TL943C forklift. The pipe shifted out of the pontoon cradle and struck the injured miner on the lower left leg causing a fracture.

Mostrando los 7An employee was hauling material to the dump grizzly, when they felt a pain in the lower back. The initial diagnosis was a strain to the lower back and they were returned to regular duties on 8/16/2014. No medical treatment was given at this time. The employee was further diagnosed and was removed from the duties on 6/9/2015.
From a previous injury that was being treated by the insurance carrier, the employee stated both knees and the back was getting sore again over the past few days. The employee was conducting their regular job operating the Pit Loader and Dozer periodically in the pit area.
Haul truck driver was dumping a load of rock at the stockpile. His telescopic hydraulic ram on the dump bed broke off at the 3rd stage causing the bed to slam down on the frame of truck, shaking driver giving him strained neck and shoulder muscles.
Employee reported that the front-end loader he was operating shifted to one side when it hit some debris in a roadway. The motion of the loader cause a twinge in his right hip area.
During normal operation of his haul truck, the employee reported that the bouncing of the truck and occasionally the bumping during loading caused a back strain.
While cleaning out the dust from inside an air conditioning air vent deflector without turning the equipment off, the employee's finger was cut by a rotating blade.
