Employee was stepping down on the bank next to the dredge when his knee gave out. The employee and foreman did not report the incident until 1/26/09. The employee went to the doctor on 1/26/09 where it was diagnosed as a sprain. The employee returned to work on the same day and did not miss work.

EMPLOYEE WAS IN FRONT OF SHOP BUILDING. SAW TRUCKS PULL IN FOR LOADING AS HE PROCEEDED TOWARD HIS FRONT END LOADER HE SLIPPED ON SOME LOOSE GRAVEL AND FELL. TRIED TO CATCH HIMSELF AND JAMMED T HE RING FINGER ON HIS LEFT HAND, RESULTING IN A TORN LIGAMENT.
