Approx. 11 AM on 3/20/2014, a DuPont emp. was descending steps on the MX. dredge, lost their footing & slipped down the steps. The emp.'s left elbow hit the steps during the fall. The EE began to lose consciousness when they stood up. A nearby emp. assisted the EE to the deck. The EE was transported to site medical for treatment. Injury classification is ER-MTC.

On Saturday 2/14/09, EE slipped & fell while walking on trommel deck grating on Maxvill Wet Mill. EE was transported to a local hospital. EE sustained a torn meniscus & ligament as a result of the fall. Prescription medication was administered. Injury has been classified as an OER/RWC. Amendment: Reclassified as OER/LWC due to surgery on 3/11/09 (1st day missed work).
Employee stepped down from one level of grating to another. His leg landed awkwardly & felt a pain in knee. He received f/a & returned to work with no restrictions. The employee continued to experience discomfort & further medical evaluation took place. It was later determined that there was a slight tear in his meniscus & surgery was scheduled on 1/2/08 to repair the injury.
Employee injured his right collar bone and shoulder when his foot slipped off a truck cab step.
On Sunday, 9/25/05, an employee slipped and fell while walking on the bottom deck of the Trail Ridge Wet Mill. He was transported to a local hospital. The employee sustained two cracked ribs as a result of the fall. Prescription medication was administered. This injury has been classified as an ER-MTC.
DRIVER WAS REFUELING BEFORE DAY LIGHT, STEPPED IN A HOLE AND TWISTED LEFT KNEE.
AFTER WORKING A 12-HOUR SHIFT, EE WITH PRE-EXISTING KNEE CONDITION WAS DESCENDING A FLIGHT OF STAIRS TO GO HOME. ABOUT 2/3 OF THE WAY DOWN THE STAIRS, THE INDIVIDUAL FELT A SHARP PAIN IN THE BAD KNEE WHICH CAUSED THE EE TO TWIST RIGHT ANKLE AND BREAK A SMALL BONE IN THE RIGHT FOOT.
AN ELECTRICIAN STUMBLED ON A GRATING LANDING AND FELL ON THE GRATING. HE LANDED ON HIS KNEE. HE RECEIVED A CUT TO THE KNEE NEEDING SUTURES TO CLOSE THE CUT.
THE DREDGE POWER WAS TEMPORARILY SHUT OFF AND LIGHTS WERE OUT. EMERGENCY BACKUP LIGHTING WAS ON. THERE WAS A DARK AREA INSIDE THE DECK HOUSE DOORWAY. THE EMPLOYEE WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR AND F ELL DOWN A STAIRWAY. HE SUSTAINED A CUT TO HIS RIGHT KNEE REQUIRING STITCHES TO CLOSE.
WHILE WALKING AROUND A CORNER THE HEAD OPERATOR SLIPPED ON A MUDDY PATCH OF GRATING & BRUISED HIS KNEE. HE SAW THE DR. & WAS TOLD THE SWELLING SHOULD GO DOWN BY ITSELF. ON 1/18/94 HE CAME BA CK TO THE DR. & SOME FLUID WAS REMOVED FROM THE BRUISE.

A HEAD OPERATOR3WAS STEPPING DOWN FROM A FEEDLINE WALKWAY TO A FEEDLINE PONTOON. HIS FOOT SLIPPED, AND HE REACHED UP TO GRAB THE FEEDLINE HANDRAIL. HIS HAND CAUGHT BETWEEN A VERTICAL SUPPORT A
AN EMPLOYEE HAD3CHOCKED A RAILROAD CAR FOR LOADING AND WAS WALKING IN THE SAND NEXT TO THE CAR. HIS FOOT SLIPPED IN THE SAND AND HIS KNEE TWISTED AS HE TRIED TO REGAIN HIS BALANCE. HE HAD STRA INED LIGAMENTS 3N THE KNEE AND WAS PLACED ON CRUTCHES. THE KNEE HAD BEEN INJURED THREE TIMES PREVIOUSLY, OFF PLANT.
STEPPING OUT OF CHANGE HOUSE SHOWER AND FELL DOWN.CUT LEFT ELBOW AND REQ 5 SUTURES.
