Working as a stone splitter operator on the MEC. Positioned a stone ready for splitting. Flipped it over to look at the other side and as it landed other side up, it landed on the fingertip of his third finger of his right hand, causing significant rupturing, requiring medical treatment.

On 8/14/2013 worked full day had a little back soreness didn't think anything of it. On the morning of 8/15/2013 back hurt severely, worked the full day running the loader only (no lifting). I think the cause was from frequent bending and lifting on 8/14 and it just caught up to me.
Smashed index finger on left hand between two rocks on the sorting plant causing swelling.
At approximately 10:30am at a stone cutter on the north end of Permagold rock quarry, employee was working the back table of a stone cutter when a rock on the table fell off and struck his left foot on the top of his foot behind the steel toe area.
Employee was walking over rocks with a rock in his hand. He slipped on a rock causing him to fall. He put his hand down to catch himself, trapping his hand between the ground and rock he was carrying. Cut the tip of his finger off (flesh only, no bone damaged).
Operator lowered splitter head onto his fingers. Broke middle finger on right hand.
Worker had his hand on a rock waiting and another worker pushed the rock forward, pinching his finger in between two rocks.
Had his hand in box when another co-worker threw a rock in the box and struck the top of his hand.

EE tried to break an end off a piece of splitter rock. The rock end chipped & a piece hit him in his right eye causing swelling.
Received laceration to right ring finger while lifting rock onto splitter table.
Piece of stone came out of splitter and cut right forearm requiring stitches.
The splitter operator pushed stone through jaws which then slid onto EE's right hand injuring tip of index finger. EE was given a medical excuse to be off work through 6/22/12 but never came back to work and officially quit 6/27/2012.
EE bent over to pick up junk rock at the splitter table and was struck on the neck by a rock coming off the splitter. No damage noted at time. He finished shift on 4/26 and worked following day 4/27. He did not seek medical attention until 4/29 and did not file an injury report until 4/30. He missed work (w/doctors excuse)4/30 and then stayed off 5/1 & 5/2 by personal choice.
A co-worker threw a pair of tin snips to ee, when he attempted to catch them his hand was punctured by the snips. Due to on-going safety & attendance issues and originally giving a false statement as to how this injury really occurred, Steve has been terminated from employment effective 3/23/2012.
Employee's hand got caught between two rocks on the stone splitter table and he dislocated his right pinky finger.
while picking stone off the back table of splitter, was caught in the crossfire of a stone being split. hand was smashed between rocks lacerating finger.
Employee tried to throw a large rock with one hand - bending thumb backwards and spraining it

EE was cutting an old hydraulic line to use to replace a missing line on an excavator, the knife slipped and he cut his hand
