EE suffered a 3.5" laceration to the left thigh that required a trip to the hospital. EE received 6 stitches. EE did return to work the following day but in a reduced work load capacity. EE was repositioning an oversized flagstone slab into a standup crate when EE lost control causing the slab to fall backward onto the left thigh.

Mostrando los 2A rock splitter assistant failed to communicate clearly that EE was beginning to flip over a rock slab, the lack of communication caused the operator to keep EE's left hand in a position that did not clear the rock slab's fall path. Thus, the operator's left ring finger was clipped by the rock slab, necessitating 2 stitches and an x-ray that turned out negative.
