Employee was shoveling off the primary belt at the crusher and when EE went through the railing to get onto the belt, EE felt a burning sensation in EE's back. This injury was originally a first aid incident, but on 6/17/25 the employee was taken out of work.

Mostrando los 8Employee was riding in the basket of the manlift through the yard and hit a small bump. The employee struck EEs left elbow on the manlift basket cage. The injury started as a first aid incident and was being treated by Ortholive with conservative care. The incident became a reportable incident on 5/20/25 when the employee went to an urgent care facility and was given restrictions.
The miner was backing the haul truck into the shop to be repaired and caught their hand between the truck's catwalk handrail system and the garage door frame. The handrail system was bent, and the employee reached through the cab window to pull it in while backing in. The impact caused a contusion to EE's left hand.
Employee was cutting belting when the knife slipped out of the belting resulting in a small laceration to EE's right thigh.
Employee was cutting a metal plate at the crusher on Wednesday and a piece of hot slag went down EE's welding glove and burnt EE's hand. On the way home from work Thursday EE's hand started hurting and when EE got home decided needed to have it looked at.
EE was adjusting the jaw die setting on the crusher. While EE's right hand was on the rod the hydraulic cylinder became overpressurized and failed on the cylinder end. When the cylinder failed the hydraulic fluid hit EE's hand at a very high pressure. The cylinder failure caused severe bruising and a laceration to EE's right hand and the back of the arm above the wrist.
Employee was trimming skirting with a utility knife. The knife slipped out of the rubber skirting and stabbed the employee in the right thigh.
Employee was moving a 10 foot piece of 2X4 box beam and felt something snap in EE's left arm. Employee was evaluated in the ER and referred to an orthopedic for further evaluation. Orthopedic diagnosed injury as ruptured tendon and scheduled surgery for 8/28/2018.
