Employee operating loader dumped sand into hopper with grizzly over top. A large object rolled off side of grizzly onto cover on electric motor. The cover rolled onto feeder belt running beneath hopper. EE parked loader, went to edge of plant, reached over guard to retrieve motor cover. EE did not shut down plant or feeder. While attempting to grab motor cover it snagged the belt
