Struck against stationary object

The injured employee was stocking plate steel in the storage area in the fabrication building. The employee was using their left arm and hand to support 4 sheets of steel. The sheets of 3/8"" steel that the employee was bracing with their left arm shifted, falling back towards employee's arm causing the employee's elbow to strike the steel plate on the other side of the rack.

Struck by flying object

Employee was cleaning around the plant in a skid steer working around the surge pile tunnel at the quarry, the weather was wet and the employee was dumping a bucket load of wet sand on to a spoil pile near the tunnel. As the employee dumped the load of material it splashed back and the material splashed on the employee's face running down behind their safety glasses.
