The employee was leaning to pick up a water bottle and hit a bump while operating the scraper. After hitting the bump the seat bounced causing EE to bounce up and cut EE's ear on a GPS bracket.

While replacing bin pulley assembly, employee was removing a bolt with a 1/2 impact and a 15\16 ratcheted box end wrench. The wrench spun, trapping finger between the wrench and the bracing resulting in the loss of the tip of left ring finger.

While drilling on a sheet of steel victim got small sliver of metal embedded in his right eye. The victim was wearing safety glasses at the time , however it was breezy in the area he was working. Once he felt the sliver he irrigated his eyes at the eye wash station, and he thought he had removed the problem. Several days later his right eye was red, itchy and very watery.

Employee reported cumulative trama to back from operating equipment for many years.

Struck on hard hat by a (approximately) 10 lb cobble

A plugged pump created steam, and when EE attempted to unplug, he was burned by steam as it evacuated the line.

Employee was cleaning inside of driveover feeder at Thoming pit using a demolition hammer. While he was cleaning the side walls he strained his right elbow and arm. His fingers began to go numb. The employee reported it to his supervisor but said that he did not require medical treatment.

Employee was air arcing to scarf out the crack on the goose neck of the scraper. He felt something in his left eye.

Injury was spinning the head of the cemco & other employee was using an air gun when his finger got stuck between the head of the cemco & the air gun socket.

Air wrenching off bolt of cutting edge, gloves on, put palm of left hand on head of bolt. Bolt spun causing the glove and then the hand to be lacerated.

While drilling into rubber stock, the drill bit caught on the underlying surface causing drill to jerk. As a result, ee's hand was strained. On 9/14/07 he reported he was having problems with the hand & requested a medical evaluation. diagnosis required physical therapy resulting in a recordable injury.

While removing a cutting edge bolt, Joe's hand slipped resulting in a cut to his left middle finger.

Employee was installing catwalk to pond pump. He was using 4" grinder with 7" cutting wheel modify handrails and toe boards to fit. As he was cutting, the cutting wheel bound up and grinder kicked back causing 1" cut.

EE WAS OPERATING A 637 SCRAPER. A DOZER WAS PUSHING THE SCRAPER THROUGH THE SLICK. THE DOZER HIT THE SCRAPER WITH MODERATE FORCE CAUSING A JOLT TO THE SCRAPER OPERATOR.

Changing bit in electric drill resulted in laceration to web of right hand.

EE landed against a new weld; steam from a wet sweatshirt caused burn- first aid administered.

AS THE EMPLOYEE WAS BLOWING OUT BOLT HOLES WITH AN AIR WAND A PIECE OF DIRT OR ROCK FLEW INTO HIS RIGHT EYE.

EE WAS GRINDING WITH A 4-1/2" HAND GRINDER AND THE GRINDER KICKED BACK AND STRUCK EE IN THE FACE.

EE WAS CUTTING A MILLSCALE & A PIECE FLEW UP UNDER HIS GLASSES INTO HIS RIGHT EYE.

EMPLOYEE WAS CUTTING SOME NOTS OFF WITH CUTTING TORCH IN A DISCHARGE CHUTE. A FIRE STARTED AND IN THE EMPLOYEE'S HASTE TO EVACUATE, HE BUMPED INTO THE FEED CHUTE AND BRUISED HIS RIBCAGE.

AS EE WAS CUTTING PLATE WITH A TORCH SCRAP PIECEFELL & CUT RT THIGH

EE WAS USING AN OVERHEAD HOIST TO TURN OVER A SCREEN DECK FRAME. THE ROD HOLDING EYE BROKE ON THE SCREEN FRAM, DROPPING THE FRAME ON THE EE'S LEFT FOOT BEHIND THE STEEL TOE AREA.
