Employee was assisting in the repair of the HSI Feeder belt as he was kneeling on the belt and cutting with a box cutter, as he was cutting the knife slipped and cut his leg just above the knee, requiring four stitches. He returned to work immediately after.

While welding on a chute the miner leaned up against a tail pulley guard to steady himself to strike an arc. When he put all his weight onto his forearm he was punctured with a sharp rock that was on the guard. the cut required three stitches.
