Employee was bent down making a cable splice with back turned to the rib. A rock fell hitting the employee in the back, resulting in a fracture to back. The size of the rock of 2' x 3' x 9"-14" thick. Incident occurred in the 3rd South Panel Entry 5 Crosscut 13.
