The rock hit the canopy and drill head, bounced over the drill deck striking the EE, then knocking him down to the drill deck.

THE INJURED EE WAS DIRECTING A MOLE INTO THE SHIELD RECOVERY AREA. HIS LEFT HAND WAS RESTING ON TOP OF A PILE OF CRIB BLOCKS. A ROCK ~1" X 7" X 6" FELL FROM THE ROOF AND STRUCK HIM ON THE BACK OF THE HAND.
WHILE CHANGING OIL IN A GEAR CASE, A ROCK FELL FROM THE SHIELD TIP TO THE FACE AND STRUCK THE EE. THESHIELDS HAD BEEN PULLED UP TO PROTECT THE WORKERS. THE ROCK MEASURED 80" X 16" X 7".
