Very small piece of metal embedded in right thumb from hammering on miner chain. Did not seek medical attention until 08/10/2017. Had metal surgically removed at hospital on 08/16/2017. Employee missed no work.
Employee was putting a scoop tire back on a DBT scoop using a pry bar. The pry bar slipped, trapping their right thumb between the scoop tire and the wheel. This resulted in a laceration to their right thumb. The thumb required 6 stitches to repair the laceration. Employee was treated and released and missed no work.
Employee was using a manual hand pumped grease gun to grease rollers on a conveyor belt line when they injured the right arm and shoulder. They took themselves to the hospital and missed no work until today when they brought in a doctors excuse stating that they will be off from work for 16 days.
