EE was repairing the conveyor roller head. EE was using a pry bar to roll the head over, the pry bar dislodged causing EE to fall and strike EE's left thumb on the conveyor guard. EE received 7 sutures at Logan Regional Medical Center and returned to work.

Mostrando los 6EE was driving a pin with a hand held hammer to remove the sprocket assembly of the conveyor motor. EE missed the pin and struck their right thumb.
Employee was unhooking the shaft between the motor and the hydraulic pump to remove the planetary for repair. Employee was torqueing the connector with a wrench, when the connector broke loose their hand came in contact with a stainless-steel wire which entered the first knuckle of the middle right hand finger.
Employee was tightening a bolt with a ratchet, hand made contact with a metal burr causing a 2" inch long cut on right hand near wrist.
Employee was sitting pins in the latch coupling of the push beams. EE swung a 20 lb. sledge hammer to hit pin and it glanced off hitting EE's left ankle.
A shard of metal sheared off the chain link while repairing the belly chain of the highwall miner and went through EE's glove into the Right pinkie finger. EE continued to work the rest of the shift and the full shift on 02/20/2019. On the morning of 02/21/2019 EE discovered the wound was red and looked infected.
