The EE was putting a new feeder chain in the section feeder. EE was striking a link of the chain with a hammer to separate it from the chain. When EE struck the link it chipped a piece off and the piece of metal struck EE in the right jaw.
The EE was cutting a notch into a section of belt so that a splice could be identified that needed replaced on a idle shift. The EE stated that as they were cutting the notch, the knife slipped and cut their left index finger.

EE was helping our mechanic change a ride cylinder on a 777 Rock Truck. EE was holding a B&O and the mechanic was using a sledge to drive the pin out of the cylinder. The sledge hit the B&O and bounced off and hit EE's hand, causing a cut that required 5 stitches.
Injured party was cutting a metal band around a bundle of 7"X7"X8' timbers, when he cut the band, the timber rolled over on his left ankle.
EE was using a 10Lb. sledge to knock a corner protector off a loader bucket, when a piece of steel flew off the protector and hit his right leg. A doctor had to remove it.

EE was helping install a Cylinder Yoke Bushing in a D11R. The bushing did not want to move, so they hooked up a battering ram from the machanics boom to force it in. The ram hit the back of EE's hand and took skin off up his arm. EE is off work for fear of infection.

EMPLOYEE WAS TRYING TO DRIVE A BOLT OUT OF THE MOLEBOARD OF A D-10 DOZER BLADE. HE WAS USING A B&0 TO DRIVE OUT THE BOLT. WHEN HE STRUCK THE B&0 WITH A SLEDGE HAMMER, IT BOUNCED OUT OF HAND SOF ANOTHER WELDER WHO WAS HOLDING IT AND STRUCK HIS RIGHT LEG. EMPLOYEE RECEIVED A SEVERE CONTUSION OF RIGHT LEG BESIDE KNEECAP.
