Employee was stripping electrical wire using a box knife with a motion towards self and stabbed self in the right thigh. This resulted in a one inch laceration the depth of the blade, requiring three stitches and tetanus shot.

EMPLOYEE WAS ATTEMPTING TO CUT METAL BANDS THAT HOLD DRUMS TOGETHER DURING TRANSPORT. THE TIN SNIPS WERE DULL, SO IT REQUIRED SOME EFFORT. WHEN THE BAND FINALLY BROKE, THE END OF BAND WHIPPED AND CUT EMPLOYEE'S ARM.
