Maintenance technician was insulating piping, EE was holding a water line while cutting the insulation to fit. The pipe shifted in the middle of EE's cut, and EE cut EE's left pinkie finger. EE was taken to local urgent care where EE received 4 stitches. EE was then released to work with no restrictions.

Mostrando los 7EE was using a hammer to hit the outside of the hopper to get clay to feed. EE got finger caught between the hammer handle and the hopper causing a non-displaced fracture of the right index finger phalanx.
Employee was cutting plastic ty-wraps off of a hose. The knife ee was using cut through the ty-wrap unexpectedly, and cut the back of left thumb. Sutures were needed to close the laceration.
To move product to the poly bagger, the operators have to occasionally hit the sides of the bin with a dead blow hammer. While the injured was striking the bin, he said he heard something pop in his shoulder. He was still able to move it freely and refused on-site first aid. He was later diagnosed with a shoulder strain, and his lifting ability was restricted.
The employee was cutting a bag scrap,when the knife cut though the scrap and cut his left thumb.
Lower Back Strain - Employee was attempting to adjust the jack bolt on the lower end of Mll #1 with a 48" pipe wrench in a sitting position and over stressed his back.
Employee was sweeping up around the bagging machine at a lower level, when he stood up he felt something snap in his lower back. After the investigation, it was determined the employee strained his lower back.
