Operator cleaning out discharge chute on rotary drier when operator stumbled and right arm went into wheelbarrow of hot material filling glove and burning rt. hand. First aid administered at plant, transported to ER and later admitted into hospital.

Employee was stripping scrap copper wire with a razor knife. The knife slipped and cut his left wrist. The laceration was repaired with sutures.
